My Role
I established Markato's brand identity by developing its visual language and tone of voice, creating a cohesive and recognizable brand experience across the product. Working closely with cross-functional teams, I translated desktop workflows into intuitive, mobile-first interfaces, improving usability while ensuring visual consistency and a seamless experience across platforms.
The objective was to elevate sellers' brand presence and product discovery while delivering a seamless marketplace experience. I translated the desktop interface into a mobile-first experience, simplifying user flows and designing intuitive interactions that supported both buying and selling on the go.
Goal(s)/ Outcome
The logomark is inspired by the Chinese radical 宀 (mián), meaning "roof." Reimagined as a stylized "m," it represents buyers and sellers coming together under one roof—a visual metaphor for a trusted marketplace where both communities are supported and connected.
